Ampersand Distilling Company is a family-run craft distillery, idyllically situated on a five-acre farm in the Cowichan Valley. Stephen and Jeremy Schacht, a father and son duo with engineering backgrounds, use their extensive knowledge of science and traditional distilling techniques to produce exceptional spirits in their handcrafted distillery.

In 2007, Stephen and Ramona moved to the Cowichan Valley to start a vegetable farm. Their son Jeremy, fascinated by the technology of distillation, was looking for a way to creatively use his degree in process engineering. The result of these efforts is the Ampersand Distilling Company – a new family business that successfully combines innovation and tradition.

Ampersand is about bringing together the best of different worlds: Ingredients and techniques, science and art, tradition and innovation. The result is delicious spirits that no well-stocked bar should be without.

Ampersand Mango Chili Flavour Gin is made from juniper, carefully selected mango and chili. The special blend combines the sweet aromas of the mango with the subtle spiciness of the chilli, resulting in a unique taste profile. The spiciness of the chilli remains mild and pleasant, giving the gin a balanced and harmonious note.
